Simon Nias

Simon has held numerous senior management appointments worldwide.  Most notably he has worked for Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs, the UK’s MoD, the UN and the British Army.  As Chief of Staff of Singapore’s Strategic Reserve, he was responsible for the delivery of equipment, training and operations. During his time in the UK's MoD, he held several Team Leader and Programme Manager appointments for the design and delivery of future communications networks, international interoperability and future space & cyber capability.  Whilst attached to the UN, he was a Senior Negotiator and Team leader for conflict resolution operations during Nepal’s civil war.  He has extensive international operational experience gained from his service in the British Army including Chief of Staff of British Forces in Afghanistan and Head of Operations during the Balkans conflict where  he was responsible for the daily coordination of all UK military and NGO activities.  He is an experienced PRINCE 2 practitioner, holds a MA from Cranfield University and a Diploma in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security.
